Land Rover has decided not to release the extreme Discovery

A prototype of such a car was presented by the Special Vehicles Operations division in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Land Rover Discovery SVX concept car's equipment list included long-travel shock absorbers, air suspension with increased ground clearance, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with 275/55 Goodyear Wrangler off-road tires.
This car was the first fifth-generation Discovery to be equipped with an 8-cylinder engine. Under the hood of the SUV was a 5.0-liter V8 compressor unit with an output of 525 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque. It was expected that the new product will appear on the market at the end of 2018.
