Jetour is a new car brand in Ukraine
Meet the loudest premiere of this fall - JETOUR. This is a sub-brand of Chery Automobile Co., which has long been familiar on the Ukrainian market. Ltd., created in 2018 as a division of the Chery Commercial Vehicle Company holding. Under this name, the subsidiary produces modern crossovers, station wagons and electric cars, based on 20 years of experience in car production, taking into account the in-house developments of an international team of specialists. Initially, this brand was aimed at the domestic market of China, but recently it also began international expansion into the countries of Asia, Latin America, and now it is represented in Ukraine.
The brand name consists of two Chinese characters that come from classical Chinese literature and mean “successful career” and “The world returns to the same place, but in different ways.” JET + TOUR literally translates as “comfortable travel”, which corresponds to the brand’s philosophy.
In Ukraine, the brand’s lineup is currently represented by one model – the JETOUR X70 crossover. This is a seven-seater car, built on the proven Chery Tiggo 8 platform, equipped with a reliable 1.5 liter gasoline turbo engine with a variable valve timing system producing 147 hp. and a torque of 210 Nm and is equipped with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior
The new product has a completely original design, both outside and inside. Trying to create a car that will appeal to a wide audience, designers turned to classic artistic solutions, complementing them with bright modern accents. It is important to note that in addition to the aesthetic component, JETOUR designers paid a lot of attention to aerodynamics, achieving a frontal drag coefficient of Cx = 0.38.
For example, when creating the design of a massive radiator grille with an integrated brand name on one of the crossbars, working on JETOUR, specialists were inspired by the classical architecture of China. But headlights with a combination of projection and LED elements, as well as all-LED daytime running lights, are a modern and even trendy solution.
The front part has noticeable stampings on the hood, as well as raised bumper elements that merge into the outlines of the front wheel arches. Thanks to this, the crossover looks quite courageous, but there is no rudeness in its appearance.

It should be noted that the lower part of the windows is decorated with chrome, while the pillars and upper parts of the frames are black, which creates a bright and noticeable color transition.
The most striking element of the rear is the lights, and to get maximum effect, the side lights must be turned on. Then a combination of four bright LEDs becomes noticeable, reminiscent of traditional Chinese lanterns.
Interior
The interior contents of the car will pleasantly surprise anyone, because the car is equipped first-class! In Ukraine, the JETOUR X70 is currently offered in a single configuration, which can safely be characterized as an All Inclusive car.
The X70 offers seven seats, which are equipped with eco-leather, while the driver's seat is electrically adjustable in three directions.
Second-row passengers have the ability to adjust the backrest angle, increase legroom through the forward-backward seat adjustments and take advantage of deep pockets on the backs of the front seats. Also, for comfort and convenience, passengers have access to climate system deflectors and two USB chargers. The most compromise is space in the third row of seats, but comfort is more than enough for short city trips or for children.
JETOUR X70 seems to be created for family travel, because in addition to a high level of comfort, the car has good potential for carrying luggage. The maximum trunk capacity is 1680 liters, while the backrests of the second row seats can be folded in a 60/40 ratio. The third row of seats can be conveniently and easily hidden in a special niche in the floor and provide a large luggage compartment. In addition, the cabin provides 28 places for storing small items and the possibility of installing an aerodynamic box on the luggage rails of the roof or mounting for various sports equipment.
