The cheapest Tesla Model 3 goes on sale
Tesla has announced the start of sales of the most affordable version of the Model 3 sedan. The price of the Standard Range modification in the USA is $36,200. On one charge, the rear-wheel drive electric car can travel up to 354 kilometers.
The “cheap” Tesla Model 3 also has a slightly longer-range version, the Standard Range Plus, with a range of 386 km. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) takes the base version 5.6 seconds, and its top speed is 209 kilometers per hour. The Plus version takes 5.3 seconds to accelerate to 60 miles per hour, and its top speed is fixed at 225 kilometers per hour.
The list of equipment for the cheapest Model 3 includes power-adjustable seats and steering column, cloth seats and a basic audio system. You will have to pay an additional $3,000 for the Autopilot complex, and advanced autonomous capabilities will cost another $5,000.
